About Us



Hello I am Obi,
Chief Executive Chef for my husband and children. I am also the Founder and Creative Director at Live and Blossom, a company that is about 'All Things Wholesome'. I absolutely love to consume raw plant-based foods, and they make up the most part of my diet. However, I also enjoy making treats and meals (that are not raw) with wholesome ingredients that have not been compromised. My goal is to always produce premium products that are appealing and delectable while preserving the integrity and authenticity of the whole foods that are the foundation of everything I make. Since my teenage years, I have consciously and deliberately chosen to eat clean healthy foods. I cannot imagine eating any other way, and I want everyone to master the art of clean eating.
I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Finance and Banking. In my senior year of college, I was made an offer to join one of the most prestigious investment banks and the largest brokerage firm on Wall Street, Merrill Lynch & Co. I will always remember working in the company’s headquarters in the World Financial Center in New York City as one of the most exciting times in my life. However, nothing excites me more like using my hands to create wholesome meals, snacks, and desserts from totally wholesome, raw, and organic ingredients. After many years of working in the financial district, I left the industry to pursue my passion for making fine foods. Today, I am doing what I absolutely love full time, and my commitment and dedication to eating well is reflected in every thing I make. I am honored that you are here. I want you to live and blossom.

We have sourced the very best in pure nutrition. Our raw Almonds are fresh because they are bought directly from a farmer whom we have built a long standing relationship with since 2009. His almonds are the only ones we source for our customers and our use. He lovingly tends his beautiful orchards in a fertile valley in California to produce the best tasting almonds we have ever had.
Our Medjool dates are huge, moist, and so delicious. We feel the same way about our other dried fruits. We guarantee the quality of everything that we offer you.
Disclosure of ingredients. ​
We want you to be comfortable and rest assured that we have done our homework in choosing every single ingredient we use in our products. We set very high standards because we care. From little things like using aluminum free baking powder in our baked goods, to unrefined sea salt, to baking at a certain temperature, to using baking pans that will not leach harmful chemicals into your foods, to our packaging, and the exclusive use of whole grains, raw unrefined sugar, raw fresh tasting nuts and seeds, we are all about choosing the best in whole foods.
We will NEVER add any vitamins to our foods, or use any products that contain added vitamins because we strongly believe whole foods have their whole food vitamins intact. Eating a variety of whole foods would help you maximize their benefits.

Modupe Okougha
Modupe Okougha is Co Owner at Live and Blossom. She received her first degree in Accounting, and has since obtained an MBA as well as a Masters degree in Management from the University of Leicester, UK. She is also an Organisation Development Certified Professional (ODCP) by the Institute of Organisation Development in Florida USA. She has over 17 years of work experience which started in 1996 at IMB Securities. She thereafter moved on to Gulf Bank Plc. She also worked for the Total Support Group and amongst her responsibilities were recruiting and managing contract employees for key oil and gas clients. She later worked as a school Administrator for many years and was responsible for the day to day management of the school. Her major responsibilities involved recruiting, training and development of both the teaching and none teaching staff; developing and implementing cost effective processes and multi-stakeholders relationship management.
However, since relocating from Scotland in 2011 and while consulting in Organisation development, her passion has been wholesome, healthy eating. While she was still pursuing a career in Consulting, everyone close to her knew her passion for healthy and wholesome food which she enjoys with family and friends.
Modupe is enthusiastic about clean, wholesome food and she is very creative when it comes to food. She gets a thrill from eating and trying out new recipes from all around the world, as long as they are wholesome! So joining Live and Blossom and sharing in the passion behind the vision therefore comes naturally. Modupe is married with three gorgeous boys, and resides in Lekki.
